SECTION 59-1-448. Use of appropriated funds to raise salaries of principals or career and technology school directors.
Official statutory text
Funds appropriated by the General Assembly must not be used to raise the salaries of public school principals or public career and technology school directors to meet the requirements of a regulation promulgated by the State Board of Education establishing a minimum differential between the salaries of teachers and the salaries of public school principals or public career and technology school directors on less than a monthly basis. Effect of Amendment The 2005 amendment substituted "career and technology" for "vocational" in two places and made nonsubstantive language changes.
