PANDAS Awareness Day

October 9 of each year is observed as "PANDAS Awareness Day," to increase public awareness of the serious illnesses PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome). Added by 2024 Tenn. Acts, ch. 777,s 1, eff. 4/23/2024.
