The production or handling of crude petroleum oil or natural gas in such manner or under such conditions as to constitute or result in waste as defined in § 60-1-101 is each prohibited. Acts 1943, ch. 64, § 4; C. Supp. 1950, § 5240.4; T.C.A. (orig. ed.), § 60-102.
