§ 101A.053. OLDER AMERICANS ACT; STATE PLAN.

(a) The department shall develop this state's plan on aging, as required by the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. Section 3001 et seq.).
(b) The department shall conduct a statewide needs assessment for long-term care and other services for older individuals and their caregivers. The assessment shall include input from:
(1) area agencies on aging;
(2) regional and local state agency staff; and
(3) community-based organizations.
