§ 32.0243. PERIODIC REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY FOR CERTAIN RECIPIENTS.

(a) The commission, in cooperation with the United States Social Security Administration, shall periodically review the eligibility of a recipient of medical assistance who is eligible on the basis of the recipient's eligibility for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits under 42 U.S.C. Section 1381 et seq., as amended.
(b) In reviewing the eligibility of a recipient as required by Subsection (a), the commission shall ensure that only recipients who reside in this state and who continue to be eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits under 42 U.S.C. Section 1381 et seq., as amended, remain eligible for medical assistance.
