§ 1201.103. COMPLIANCE WITH MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR BENEFITS.

Official statutory text

(a) An individual accident and health insurance policy must meet the minimum standards for benefits established under Section 1201.104 for each category of coverage provided under the policy.

(b) Subsection (a) does not apply if the commissioner determines that the policy is a supplemental policy or experimental policy or determines that the policy will fulfill a reasonable public need and the policy meets the requirements of Chapter 1701.
