§ 843.077. ELIGIBILITY OF FOREIGN CORPORATION.

A foreign corporation may qualify for a certificate of authority under this chapter, including a certificate of authority for a single health care service plan, subject to the corporation's:
(1) registration to engage in business in this state as a foreign corporation under the Texas Business Corporation Act; and
(2) compliance with this chapter and other applicable state laws.
