§ 846.208. NOTICE TO COVERED PERSONS.
Official statutory text
(a) A multiple employer welfare arrangement that cancels or refuses to renew coverage under a health benefit plan under Section 846.206 or Section 846.207 shall notify the employer of the cancellation of or refusal to renew coverage not later than the 30th day before the date termination of coverage is effective. The employer is responsible for notifying participating employees of the cancellation of or refusal to renew coverage.
(b) The notice provided under this section is in addition to any other notice required by Section 846.206 or Section 846.207.
