§ 407A.303. COLLECTION AND PAYMENT OF SURCHARGES.

Official statutory text

(a) The group shall remit the surcharges for deposit in the Texas Department of Insurance operating account to the credit of the division.

(b) A group commits an administrative violation if the group does not pay the surcharges imposed under Sections 407A.301 and 407A.302 in a timely manner.

(c) If the certificate of approval of a group is terminated, the commissioner or the commissioner of insurance shall immediately notify the comptroller to collect surcharges as directed under Sections 407A.301 and 407A.302.
