§ 412.0127. PAYMENT BY ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER.

(a) Notwithstanding Section 403.016, Government Code, and except as provided by Subsection (b), the office shall pay an employee entitled to an indemnity benefit payment using the same payment method as the method by which the employee receives the employee's wages.

(b) The office shall adopt rules to facilitate the use of electronic funds transfer as the preferred method of payment under this section.

(c) The office may issue an indemnity benefit payment by check on request or if electronic funds transfer is not feasible.
