§ 71.025. DELIVERY TO NEW OFFICERS.
Official statutory text
The officers of a county from which a new county has been created or to which a newly organized county has been attached and all other persons who have in their possession books, records, maps, or other property that belongs to the new county shall deliver the material to the proper officers of the new county within five days after the date on which the new officers legally qualify.
