§ 504.160. ISSUANCE OF LICENSE TO CERTAIN OUT-OF-STATE APPLICANTS.

Official statutory text

(a) The department may, on application and payment of the appropriate fee, issue a license to a person who is licensed or certified by another state as a chemical dependency counselor if the department determines that the license or certificate requirements of that state are substantially equivalent to the requirements of this chapter.

(b) The department may waive any license requirement for an applicant with a license or certificate issued by another state with which this state has a reciprocity agreement.
