§ 51.2011. POWERS AND DUTIES OF COMMISSION REGARDING STATE LOTTERY AND BINGO REGULATION.

Official statutory text

(a) The commission has broad authority and shall exercise strict control and close supervision over all activities authorized and conducted in this state under:

(1) Chapter 2001; and

(2) Chapter 466, Government Code.

(b) The commission shall ensure that games are conducted fairly and in compliance with the law.

(c) The commission also has the powers and duties granted under:

(1) Chapter 2001; and

(2) Chapter 466, Government Code.
