§ 551.008. PROHIBITION ON RULE VIOLATING SINCERELY HELD RELIGIOUS BELIEF.
Official statutory text
(a) All rules, regulations, or policies adopted by the board may not violate Chapter 110, Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
(b) A person may assert a violation of Subsection (a) as an affirmative defense in an administrative hearing or as a claim or defense in a judicial proceeding under Chapter 37, Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
