§ 1012.203. GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION.

Official statutory text

(a) The district may issue general obligation bonds only if the bonds are authorized by a majority of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose.

(b) Section 41.001(a), Election Code, does not apply to a bond election ordered by the board.

(c) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, the election shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 1251, Government Code.
