§ 1013.116. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES.

(a) The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person for whom that county, municipality, or public hospital has an obligation to provide care, as provided by Chapter 61, Health and Safety Code.
(b) The board shall seek reimbursement under Article 104.002, Code of Criminal Procedure, for the district's care and treatment of a person who is confined in a Castro County jail facility and is not a district resident.
