§ 21.301. ACQUISITION OF EXISTING FACILITIES.

If the district acquires existing works, improvements, and waste disposal, treatment, and other facilities, plants, pipelines, equipment, and appliances that are completed, partially completed, or under construction, the district may:

(1) assume the contracts and obligations of the previous owner; and

(2) perform the obligations of the previous owner in the same manner and to the same extent that any other purchaser or assignee would be bound.
