§ 56.109. COMPENSATION OF CARRIER.

(a) The telecommunications carrier selected to provide the telecommunications relay access service under Section 56.108 or the carrier selected to provide a special feature for the telecommunications relay access service under Section 56.1085 shall be compensated at rates and on terms provided by the carrier's contract with the commission.

(b) The compensation may include:

(1) a return on the investment required to provide the service; and

(2) compensation for unbillable or uncollectible calls placed through the service.

(c) Compensation for unbillable or uncollectible calls is subject to a reasonable limitation determined by the commission.
