State mental health authority.

Official statutory text

In order to promote coordination and efficient development of mental health services by the state and by municipalities in the state, the department is declared to be the state mental health authority of Wisconsin and as such is authorized to receive federal grants in aid and to cooperate with the federal government in promoting the extension of such services.
