A part-time magistrate of the circuit court shall be paid by the state. A claim for compensation under this section shall be made by voucher, verified under oath, setting forth in detail the
services performed, time expended and amount of compensation claimed. No claim for compensation under this section shall be paid unless approved and allowed by a judge of the circuit court.
