Barney litigates in state and federal courts and frequently does appellate work in the Virginia Supreme Court. He is often called upon to give expert testimony on the topics of real estate law and attorney fees. Barney has served as Chairman of the Judicial Screening, Long Range Planning and Professionalism Committees of the Fairfax Bar Association.
