James M. Poe is an experienced and effective personal injury plaintiff’s attorney with particular expertise in medical malpractice. In practice since 1974, Jim has held a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV (its highest rating) for more than 25 years, and has been voted a Georgia Superlawyer in medical malpractice by his peers every year from 2007-2017.. Jim began his law career as an insurance defense litigator with Swift, Currie, McGhee and Hiers, then left in 1983 with seven other partners to form the firm Drew, Eckl, and Farnham, also an insurance defense practice.
