He is the past Chairman and current Board Member for Food for Greater Elgin, a regional food pantry serving the Elgin, South Elgin and East Dundee areas and is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brett Armin Sarcoma Foundation. Mr. Richmond also serves on the Board of Directors of Advocate Sherman Hospital.. He lives in South Elgin with his wife, Sandy and two children and he coaches baseball in the South Elgin little league.
