I am a lifelong resident of central Indiana and a graduate of Zionsville Community High School. I got divorced in 1990 when my children were 4 and 6 years old. My father played professional baseball as a young man, and later worked in data processing. My mother was a registered nurse, who worked nights so that she could care for her children during the day. I have one brother who is a surgeon in Michigan, and one who practices law in Indianapolis.. My daughter, Jennifer Bays Beinart, practices with me. My therapy dog, Mordecai, comes to work with me almost every day as the director of morale.
