In high school he was told to learn a trade because he would never afford college. He chose to become college educated graduating from Florida Technological University in 1973. FTU is now University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.. He was married and had 4 children by the time he graduated from college. After his move to Atlanta in 1983 he continued his education by attending law school at nights. He worked during the day and attended law school at nights.. He passed the bar on his first attempt. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant as well as a lawyer. All of these courses of study gualifys him as an Estate Planner as well as a Financial Consultant.. His approach to the practice of law centers in reviewing carefully the circumstances of each case, applying the appropriate law and working towards settlement.
