Mr. Mitchell worked as a Deputy District Attorney from 1996 to 2016 in both Orange and San Bernardino Counties and also previously worked as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff.  As a Deputy District Attorney, Mr.Mitchell acted as lead trial counsel in nearly one hundred jury trials, including Special Circumstance Murder, Murder, Forcible Sexual Assault on a Child Under 14, Continuous Sexual Abuse of Child under 14, Rape, Felony Domestic Violence, Felony Stalking, Felony Criminal Threats, Attempted Murder, Three Strikes, Robbery, Arson and numerous D.U.I.
