Moore studied journalism at Alabama State University before receiving his Juris Doctor degree from Miles Law School. While a student at Miles, he was an officer in the Student Bar Association as well as a member of Delta Theta Phi, a professional law fraternity. Prior to practicing law, Moore worked for the Montgomery Advertiser, served as a freelance writer, and hosted several radio shows. He then worked as a family law lawyer for firms throughout Birmingham before opening his own successful practice in 2020.
