Rachel Pappy was born and raised in Michigan. She earned the Dean's List distinction during her undergraduate degree at Wayne State University and after a career as an accountant, went on to earn a scholarship to attend law school at Oklahoma City University. During her first year of law school she was elected by her fellow classmates to serve as their Class President and was subsequently elected to serve as the law student chair for the Oklahoma Bar Association Law Student Division to represent all law students at all 3 law schools in the state. During law school Rachel Pappy was also exclusively selected as the winner of a coveted award from the Oklahoma Bar Association for her commitment to the practice of the law. Rachel Pappy has been active in various state and federal political campaigns, and was previously selected by the Mayor of Oklahoma City to serve on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma City Department of Health and Human Services. Rachel currently serves on the Norman Chamber of Commerce for the Norman Next Board of Directors, as well as on the Board of Trusted Advisors to the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. Rachel is a current member of the distinguished Ginsburg Inn of Court and is regularly invited to teach numerous tax seminars all across the State to provide tax advice to various professional organizations including CPAs and other attorneys.. Rachel is currently the Managing Attorney and Vice President of Operations at the Law Offices of Roderick H. Polston and is licensed to practice law in various state and federal courts throughout Oklahoma.. Rachel Pappy is an active member of her church and regularly volunteers in the community. She has been awarded with the OKC Biz Forty Under 40 Award, Next Achievers Under 40 Award, and has been featured on the cover of the Tulsa Business and Legal News, in the OKC Biz magazine, and in the Norman Transcript for her outstanding contributions to the community and the practice of the law. Most recently she has been nominated to the Oklahoma Bar Association as the Most Outstanding Young Lawyer of the year, and has published a best-selling book called Get In The Game with co-authors Shark Tank celebrity Kevin Harrington and Loral Langemeier, the author of the best-selling book The Secret.. Rachel Pappy brings years of tough negotiating to the table and has been successful in negotiating for thousands of clients over the years, which has resulted in relief from many IRS problems such as the release of levies, garnishments, stopping foreclosure proceedings against assets, and assisting clients with properly purchasing, setting up, and selling their businesses.. When she's not in the office or presenting tax seminars, Rachel loves spending time with her husband and three children.
