In 1991, Susan successfully founded, owned and operated the Law Firm of Susan F. Fremit, LL.B. in Ontario, Canada as the principal criminal defense lawyer. Over the course of a decade, Susan represented over 1,000 clients in a variety of serious criminal charges, including DUI, reckless driving, murder, and drug possession, distribution and trafficking. With a large majority of cases going to trial, Susan obtained significant experience in winning cases through trial preparation and research; developing arguments; acquiring expert witnesses; and discrediting Crown arguments, as well as police and witness testimony.. In 2008, Susan founded the Law Firm of Susan F. Fremit to provide a decade worth of Canadian legal expertise and criminal defense trial experience to clients charged with serious criminal offenses in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Falls Church, Virginia.
