While on vacation to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I fell in love with Africa and decided to return as more than a tourist. So, in 2013, I moved to Namibia, Africa. There, I counseled a United Nations-funded organization working with rural farmers and taught high school physics and chemistry. I also met my wife, a native Austinite, while living and working in Africa.. Since returning to my wife’s hometown of Austin in 2015, I have practiced exclusively criminal and family law: First, as a Texas criminal prosecutor. Now, as a private attorney who solves criminal and family law problems as the Managing Attorney at Thompson Law.
