“I’ve worked with Tony Hofeld over nearly 20 years, beginning as his associate for two years. Although my family and practice moved to Geneva, Tony has remained one of my very few “go to” referral sources. When I have a client with a problem I cannot handle or if I need an independent expert witness, Tony is always on the short list, if he’s not the only name. Most recently, I hired Tony as an expert witness in a criminal tax matter. His detailed and excellent work was critical in convincing the government that the tax loss, and consequently the defendants’ sentences, were less than 50% of what it charged. Tony’s technical skills are excellent and his personal skills are even better. He communicates frequently and clearly with clients. Maybe even more important, Tony provides an unflappable voice of reason to even the most hostile opposing counsel. Every attorney should consider Tony an ideal, but few will measure up.”
