He received his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of law, where he graduated summa cum laude, at the top of his class.. Benjamin previously served as a police officer with the City of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and as a Deputy with the Dare County Sheriff’s Office. There he served in a variety of roles, including Uniformed Patrol, School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, General Law Enforcement Instructor, and Specialized Subject Control and Arrest Techniques Instructor.
