I keep up to date on current statutory and case law, and thoroughly prepare for each court hearing. Prior to practicing law, I maintained a private practice in psychotherapy for several years. I have taught legal research and juvenile law at the Birmingham School of Law, and courses on family and child welfare at the University of Alabama and the University of West Florida. I have also served as Special Master and Special Circuit Judge at the Jefferson County Family Court.
