Admitted as an attorney to the State Bar of California in 1979, Richard Ross draws from over thirty years of legal experience, and is a Family Law Specialist, as certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization, as well as a member of the Ventura and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.  He is also a member of the Family Law section of the State Bar of California.. With a background in psychology and interpersonal relations, Mr. Ross' area of practice has naturally evolved to the family law arena.  His in-depth experience encompasses a wide range of legal disciplines, including civil, criminal, business, bankruptcy litigation, personal injury, worker's compensation, corporate law, and real property law.  After completing his undergraduate degree from UCLA (The University of California at Los Angeles) and his Juris Doctorate degree (in 1978) from the San Fernando Valley College of Law, Mr. Ross was honored with the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence.. Both the California State Assembly and State Senate have honored Richard Ross for his active community involvement, and he has been conferred with the sublime degree of Master Mason for his commitment to California Free Masonry.  Mr. Ross is a past president of the Agoura Hills Chamber of Commerce and a past president and charter member of the Calabasas chapter of Toastmasters International.  In addition, he and his staff have regularly donated many hours to the Ventura County Self-Help Legal Clinic.
