Megan Hodson Bio
Megan’s primary practice area is civil litigation.  She is a member of the Vermont Bar, Florida Bar, and also of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida Bar.. Megan joined Bauer Gravel Farnham in 2016 after completing her Vermont Bar Clerkship with the Office of the Vermont Attorney General and the Law Office of Susan M. Buckholz.  Prior to joining Bauer Gravel Farnham, Megan practiced civil litigation in the areas of family law, commercial law, and environmental and land use law.  She spent her first few years of private practice in South Florida and, a Connecticut native, returned to New England in 2015.. Megan received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she completed the Concentration of Environmental Law, acted as Torts Law Scholar, and was awarded the Sigma Alpha Omicron Award for her role as President of the Environmental Law Society.  Attracted to the Visiting Program at Vermont Law School, Megan spent her third year of law school in Vermont after interning with the Conservation Law Foundation.. Megan received her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she was a member of the Women’s Division I Volleyball Team and Copyeditor for The Retriever Weekly.  Megan also interned with the Honorable Judge Wanda Keyes Heard of the Baltimore City Circuit Court and with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection.. Megan enjoys volunteerism in her personal and professional life.  She was a proud Board Member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, an active member of the Junior League of Boca Raton, a tutor with the Learning Bank of Baltimore, and now enjoys membership to the Vermont Bar Association.  Although Ms. Hodson’s family spans the East Coast, she now lives in Montpelier and finds great adventure and peace in the mountains of Vermont.
