Rebekah A. James serves as an Attorney with Meriwether & Tharp, LLC. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. While she was completing her final year of law school, Rebekah served as Vice President of Programming for the Family Law Society and Publicity Officer for the Women Law Students Association.. Since she was raised as a child of divorced parents, Rebekah understands firsthand the challenges associated with divorce. Rebekah's interest in the legal field was inspired by a Guardian ad Litem who represented her as a child. After completing law school, she entered the field of family law focusing on child welfare and child custody.. On a personal level, Rebekah is active in church, enjoys hiking, painting, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
