Nick travels regionally and focuses his law practice in estate planning, probate law, real estate law, land use law, business succession, real estate law, agricultural law and business/corporate law.  Nick represents a variety of clients, including individuals, title companies, banks, cities, counties, employers, businesses and farming families.  Nick is intricately involved in drafting complex estate plans and business succession plans, including the formation of family trusts and limited liability companies, corporationsand partnerships, in addition to drafting insurance trusts.. Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine named Nick a “Rising Star” three years in a row, an incredible honor named to attorneys.  Professionally, he currently serves as the Chair of the 7th District Fee Dispute Arbitration Committee.. Nick grew up in Alexandria, Minnesota and enjoys practicing law in the lakes area.  He graduated with honors from St. Cloud State University with an undergraduate degree in Political Science.  Nick earned his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul and is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Minnesota and North Dakota.. Nick is active in the community and currently participates in the Rotary Club, the Alexandria Housing Redevelopment Authority and his church.  Nick and his wife, Jennifer, and four children reside in the Alexandria area. Nick's interests include spending time with family, running, basketball, reading, and woodworking.. Nick serves both the Fergus Falls and Alexandria offices, as well as travels across the mid-State and North Dakota region, meeting with clients on their estate planning and business succession needs.
