After graduating from the University of California Los Angeles with degrees in History and Political Science, I moved to Seattle with my wife where I attended Seattle University School of Law.. While in Law School, I represented juvenile defendants at the Law School's Youth Advocacy Clinic, tried criminal cases in Alaska with the Anchorage prosecuting attorney's office, and represented adult felony defendants with the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons.. Graduating Law School Cum Laude, I went on found my own solo general practice in Lynnwood, WA.  After ten years as a solo practitioner, I merged my practice with Vic Lam Law to form Lam & Butler Law Group providing high quality, client-centered civil litigation representation.
