She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University College of Arts & Sciences and her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.. Ms. Stokes was an honoree as an Outstanding Citizen at the 2019 40 Under 40 Memphis Urban Elite Awards and she has named the 2017 Tri-State Defender’s Best Overall Attorney and the 2017 Best Family Law/Divorce Attorney at the Annual Tri-State Defender’s Best in Black Awards.
