Charli Baldinger focuses her practice on workers’ compensation. An experienced litigator fluent in all stages of workers’ compensation matters, she handles trials, settlements, deposition of medical professionals, hearings before the Workers’ Compensation Board, the negotiation of schedule loss of use agreements, Section 32 agreements, and the researching and drafting of appeals.. Prior to practicing workers' compensation litigation, Charli worked for a private criminal defense firm, where she represented high-profile defendants in alleged securities fraud, racketeering, homicide, and other white-collar criminal matters. Charli also has experience in financial and contract law and litigation, including mortgage loan documents, residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), and the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as well as commercial leasing and purchase, sale, and easement agreements.. A graduate of New York Law School, Charli was vice president of the Dispute Resolution team and a semi-finalist in the regional division of the American Bar Association’s National Client Counseling Competition, as well as chairperson of the Fact Pattern and Judging Committees for the school’s first annual Negotiation Competition. At John Jay College of Criminal Justice she pursued a major in Justice Studies and minors in English and History, and was a member of the Pre-Law Institute and reporter and treasurer for the John Jay Times.
