Practicing since 2005, Roshan began his legal career with the law firm of Hanson Bridgett LLP in San Francisco, California.  During his time with Hansen Bridgett, Roshan successfully defended commuter railroads and public bus operators in catastrophic personal injury cases and represented eldercare facilities in elder abuse cases and residential evictions.. The experience Roshan gained defending railroads, bus companies, and elder care facilities gives him a unique understanding as to how these companies and their insurers defend personal injury lawsuits which allows him to maximize recoveries for his clients.. Roshan also has extensive experience representing residential and commercial landlords and tenants in various types of disputes including evictions, summary process, tenants’ rights, security deposits, and Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 93A claims.  Specifically, Roshan has successfully prosecuted evictions for commercial landlords and eldercare facilities and has donated hundreds of hours of his time to defend indigent tenants on a pro bono basis.. In 2013, Roshan opened the Law Office of Roshan Jain in Boston so that he could pursue two of his great passions; helping his clients obtain superior results and running his own practice.  Mr. Jain understands that resolving civil disputes does not always require expensive, scorched-earth litigation and therefore he always takes the time to understand his clients’ objectives and delivers flexible, value-based solutions.. Roshan received his Bachelors of Arts from Williams College in 1999 where he volunteered as National Ski Patroller and for a youth program with the First Congregational Church.  He attended the London School of Economics in 1998 and shared his love for the outdoors with children as a summer camp counselor.. In 2005, Roshan received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law where he volunteered for the Prison Law Clinic, was co-editor-in-chief of the environmental law journal, and co-chaired the Middle Eastern and South Asian Law Students Association.. Prior to attending law school, Roshan helped found Emuzed, Inc., a technology company that developed cutting-edge software and hardware products which helped to make high quality audio and video playback a reality on cell phones.  Flextronics, Inc. acquired Emuzed in 2004.. Roshan is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and California and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts State Courts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, California State Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals..
