Elic Anbar received his bachelors degree from Columbia University in 1982. He majored in History and Psychology. He recieved his law degree from California Western School of Law in May of 1985. Mr. Anbar was admitted to practice law in the State of California, United State Federal Court, The State of New York, the District of Columbia and the State of Israel.. Elic Anbar began his legal career as a trial attorney for the Los Angeles Public Defender. He defended hundreds of indigent clients, representing them from arrangement through jury trial. He served as house counsel for a medical research company from 1992 through 1993, then took two years to study law and the legal system of Israel, where he was admitted to practice in 1994. In late 1994 he joined the San Diego Pubic Defender, again as a trial attorney representing several hundred clients from arraignment through jury trial. In 1996 Mr. Anbar left public service and entered private practice. For the ten years prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked in healthcare and hospital management.
