Tehmina Avagyan graduated from Yerevan State University with honors, getting Bachelor's Degree and then Master’s Degree in Law. She continued her studies at the American University of Armenia and got Master's Degree in Law. After moving to the USA, she continued her legal career and studied at the Southwestern Law School and Harvard University.. Tehmina Avagyan had previously worked in Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, a lawyer in a number of law firms, a corporate consultant of a credit bureau, and an editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Human Rights.Tehmina Avagyan is also a licensed real estate broker in California, a member of the National Association of Realtors, C.A.R.She is married and has four children..
