In 1998, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver where he also was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Woods is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel; Oregon and Washington State Bars; the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association; the King County Bar Association (where he is a member of the ADR Committee); the American Bar Association; Multnomah Bar Association; and the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers (where he is a member of the Judicial Liaison Committee). Mr. Woods’ personal interests include backpacking, sailing and sea kayaking. He has pursued these interests in Mexico, Africa, Canada, Europe, South America and throughout the United States.
