Harvey Harris Lawyer Reviews & Ratings - Lexington
Attorney Brad Harris has been protecting people by asserting their legal rights most of his life. Brad grew up in poverty but, with the support from his wife, he graduated from college with honors. Then he worked full time during the day while he earned his law school degree from the University of Houston.. His law career started in his and his wife’s small hometown in Texas as a general law practice until he was elected to be the County and District Attorney.. Then he moved to Austin, Texas where he practiced personal injury, social security disability and insurance law. There, he represented many individuals who were seriously injured as the result of the negligence of others – and he obtained sizeable verdicts and settlements against insurance companies for their fraud and unfair treatment of policyholders.. In 1998, he moved to Kentucky where he developed a nationwide practice representing federal employees with regard to their rights to workers compensation, occupational disability and in employment disputes. Although he continues to live in the beautiful state of Kentucky with his wife of 41 years, he continues to have an office in Austin, Texas and most recently has opened a Washington D.C. office which allows easier access to federal employee matters.. His special area of interest in the law is in the analysis and simplification of complex insurance and medical terms and conditions for the purposes of developing persuasive communication to accomplish legal rights. Brad is a member of the Texas, Kentucky, and Washington D.C. Bar Associations. He is also member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington D.C. the National Organization of Veterans Advocates, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the Workers Injury Law Group.. He has been a guest lecturer of attorneys on many occasions and subjects such as a presentation in Washington D.C. to the National Employment Lawyers Association entitled “Enforcing Employee Rights”. Brad has authored case law summaries presented at the Workers Injury Law Group annual convention in San Diego, California and authored various articles which have been published in newsletters and on the websites of various unions regarding the rights of injured workers.
