She represented thousands of indigent clients charged with criminal offenses during her practice as a Ramsey County Public Defender. Her representation has achieved successful results in cases such as DWIs, domestic assaults, felony level drug possession/sale, criminal sexual conduct, and homicide. In addition to her practice, Debbie was an adjunct professor at Hamline University within the Legal Studies department.
