About Randi Setter
I was born and raised in Minnesota. I went to Madison, Wisconsin for college, earning a degree in German Literature from the University of Wisconsin. After graduating from Madison, I moved to Freiburg, Germany, teaching English to adults. I then returned to Minnesota and earned my teaching license. I taught German and worked as an English Language Learner paraprofessional. Subsequntly, I went to law school, earning a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2006. After law school my first job in the legal field was in Buffalo, Minnesota, clerking for Wright County District Court Judge Stephen M. Halsey. I am currently the prosecuting attorney for the Cities of Buffalo and Annandale. I also have a private practice.. My passions, outside of the law, are gardening, triathlons, and reading.

As an experienced practitioner and having worked with one another in the past, I remain appreciative of Ms. Setter's consistent, professional, and thoughtful approach to the practice of law--in particular, family law--and her ability to unpretentiously represent the best characteristics of our profession during all phases of case management, including client consultations as well as interactions with opposing parties, counsel, and the courts. Notwithstanding the experiences anonymously complained of herein, parties seeking a more attentive and skilled attorney than Ms. Setter would be hard pressed to do better.”
