Amber graduated high school from Burnsville, Minnesota. She moved to Moorhead to attend Minnesota State University Moorhead, and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Paralegal Studies with an emphasis in civil litigation, and minors in Communication Studies and Philosophy. Prior to law school, Amber worked for numerous years at a local law firm as a paralegal assisting in medical malpractice defense.. Amber later graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While attending law school, she was a member of the North Dakota Law Review, Innocence Project, Moot Court, and numerous student organizations. Amber had a case comment published in the North Dakota Law Review (92 N.D. L. Rev. 1 (2017)) and earned the highest grade in civil procedure. Amber also assisted first-year law students in legal research and writing as a teaching assistant and was a law clerk in East Grand Forks, Minnesota assisting in numerous family law matters.. Prior to joining Fremstad Law, Amber worked at a local law firm for 5 years where she gained experience in creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, and collections..
