Scheherazade (“Shazi”) Rastegar is an attorney and mediator specializing in employment and family law. She is a Panel Mediator for the Los Angeles and Ventura Superior Courts ADR Programs and a Certified Mediator for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office Dispute Resolution Program, the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Center for Civic Mediation, and the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center. She is also a Panel Mediator for the LACBA Attorney Client Mediation and Arbitration Services, a facilitator and coach for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office Dispute Resolution Program, and an evaluator and coach for the Center for Civic Mediation. In 2012, Ms. Rastegar was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles, served as a panelist on mediation at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and was recognized in The Mediator. Ms. Rastegar is also actively involved in the mediation community, and was recently elected to the Board of the Southern California Mediation Association.
