Mr. Sammons sincerely enjoys serving clients by using his decades of litigation and successful courtroom trial experience, coupled with years of advanced training in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques, to resolve their disputes without the need for trial or, in some instances, even without litigation. In addition to having participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations, and having been the mediator in many cases as a Judge Pro Tem with the Maricopa County Superior Court, Mr. Sammons has enjoyed and completed numerous post-graduate ADR courses.  Among the more notable post-graduate ADR courses he has completed are the comprehensive “Mediating the Litigated Case” course taught at Pepperdine University’s renowned Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution, and the Institute for Conflict Managment Mediator Certification Course. Mr. Sammons has also completed training in Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching Fundamentals, and Facilitator Leadership training through MG Rush.  His ADR practice at Sanders & Parks includes mediations, arbitrations, conflict coaching, group-think facilitation, and peacemaking.. Mr. Sammons has practiced law at the law firm of Sanders & Parks, P.C., in Phoenix, Arizona, for over thirty-five years. He has been a Director of the firm for over thirty years, and twice served as its President. From 1978 to 2014, his practice focused on personal injury litigation. Utilizing his prior military medical training and experience, his practice had a special emphasis on medical malpractice cases as well as general personal injury litigation including trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability, governmental tort liability, and automotive liability.  He has favorably resolved thousands of litigated matters, for both plaintiffs and defendants, and has been lead trial counsel in over sixty-five successful jury trials at the state and federal level. In recognition of Mr. Sammons' experience and accomplishments, he has received inclusive recognition by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. Most recently, in recognition of his accomplishments as a successful trial attorney, Mr. Sammons was bestowed the honor of Fellowship in the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL).
